Massachusetts-based retailer Concepts and once more teamed up with New Balance, this time on a collaborative 998. It appears to sport a white perforated leather at its upper overlaid with magenta suede and reflective elements at the heel and toe. Pink stands in for the “N” logos on the sides , with “998” , “new balance” and “MADE IN USA” embroidered on the tongues. Underneath resides an ABZORB midsole and a black rubber outsole. A Massachusetts man who was accused of allegedly assaulting and robbing a 14-year-old girl of her sneakers in downtown Attleboro turned himself in to authorities Thursday morning. On June 23, Nelson Daluz, 25, was accused of aggressively approaching the young victim and forcibly relieving her of her Air Force Ones when she refused to talk to him. A recent raid by the Los Angeles Police Department recovered a massive stockpile of ill-gotten footwear. The June 21 raid on a warehouse recovered $7 million in stolen sneakers. Commerical crime detectives fromt he LAPD received a report that several cargo containers were stolen from trucks near the Port of Los Angeles.
