”Flagstaff” Nike Book 1 arrived February 1, 2025

This rendition of the Nike Book 1 pays tribute to Flagstaff, Arizona, and its ponderosa pine forests.  They sport a fir nubuck upper that features a topographical pattern inspired by and representing the city’s rugged landscape. Large, white-bordered Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides, while the Arizona sunset serves as the backdrop for the Book 1 branding on the tongue. The “Aluminum” Nike Dunk SB Low

The black suede that serves as this Dink Low’s foundational layer is overlaid with aluminum suede at the toe eye rows, flanking the ankles and wrapping the heel. Football grey suede Swooshes adorn the sides, while an embroidered “NIKE” is seen at the rear heel. “Oxidized Green” Air Jordan XIV now available

Last seen in 2016, the “Oxidized Green” Air Jordan XIV makes its return, albeit this time in form to take to links.  Unlike its original iteration the Oxidized Green golf shoe sports ribbing and perforations on the side panels. One of what should be 7 Jumpmen appears on the toe, with others that should be located on the rear heel, aglets, lateral ankle, insole and outsole. This rendition of the classic silhouette features a smoke-grey suede. The Swooshes that adorn the sides are undergirded with black, with black also showing up at the branding on the tongue and rear heel. Joel Embiid ruled out for remainder of season due to knee issues

More bad news In a season rife with disappointment, Philadelphia 76ers center center Joel Embiid will miss the remainder of the season. The team announced Friday afternoon that Embiid is “medically unable to play.”. Tennessee State lady Tigers defeat Morehead State 72-61 in must win game

Overcoming a very slow start and finishing with a 23-8 fourth-quarter barrage, the Tennessee State Lady Tigers were able to overcome a 17-point deficit to defeat Morehead State 72-61 to keep their OVC Tournament hopes alive.  As has been the case numerous times this season, the Lady Tigers stumbled out of the gates, shooting just 3/18 and scoring just 9 points. Tennessee State locks up OVC Tournament bye with 64-55 win over Morehead State

It was a game of runs, as Tennessee State defeated Morehead State 64-55 in a critical win that secured the Tigers a bye into the quarterfinals of the OVC Tournament.  The Eagles showed the way until a 10-0 spurt put the Tigers up 14-8 on Ahmir Langlais’ jumper at the 9:54 mark. A trio of Port St. Lucien, Florida terns were accused of assaulting and stealing the sneakers off the feet of a youngster outside of a local movie theatre.  At approximately 10 pm on December 28, 2024, Port St. Lucie Police responded to a call of a robbery at an AMC movie theatre located at 1900 NW Courtyard Circle.
