The season includes twenty-seven (27) matches, comprised of eight (8) home matches and three tournaments. Veteran Head Coach, Verneice Graham, will lead her team as they kick off the season with a match against Middle Georgia State University on September 3rd inside HPER Complex. Ross, Jr., has been selected as a member of the NCAA Division I Finance Committee. Courtesy of Curtis Ford, Grambling State Athletics The Grambling State University women’s soccer team has been picked to finish first in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) preseason poll, announced by the conference on Monday morning.  The Tigers enter the 2024 season fresh off a dominating 2023 campaign that saw them win the SWAC Tournament and go unbeaten in conference play. Courtesy of Jackson State Fabian McCray was one of 20 players named to the inaugural Urban Edge Network HBCU+ FCS National Player of the Year Award Preseason Watch List, released by the organization on Thursday morning. McCray hauled in 41 receptions for 584 yards and four touchdowns including a season-long 47-yard reception.
