Sertac Sanli moves to the team he “hurt” in the EuroLeague championship game.

Barcelona announced that the team signed Turkish center Sertac Sanli to a two-year deal. As it was reported three weeks ago, Sanli comes from Anadolu Efes with which he won the 2021 EuroLeague championship.
Per Barcelona:
Barça and Sertac Sanli have reached an agreement, pending the player’s medical, to sign the Turkish center for the next two seasons until 30 June 2023.
The 2.13m Turk is 29 years old and comes to the Palau Blaugrana from last season’s EuroLeague winners Anadolu Efes.
Top performer
Sanli has been a key part of the Efes setup this season, especially in the Final Four. In Cologne, he averaged 15.5 points and 5 rebounds in 19 minutes a game. Overall in the 2020/21 European campaign, he averaged 7.8 points in 14 minutes with 66% in 2-point attempts and 81.5% for free throws.
Efes also won the Turkish championship, with Sanli playing 25 regular-season games with an average of 8.5 points (38% in 3-pointers), 4.1 rebounds in 17 minutes. He scored 9 points a game on the playoffs in 14 minutes and with a 75% shot conversion rate.
Experience
Sanli had been at Anadolu Efes from 2018 to 2021, and before that he played for Galatasaray (2010-2013), Gaziantep (2013/14), Muratbey Usak (2014/15), Trabzonspor (2015/16) and Besiktas (2016-18).
He also plays for the Turkish national team and is currently preparing for the Tokyo Olympics.
