DRose tells it like it is

Over the past year plus it seems that Derrick Rose has re-discovered his prodigious ability to play high level basketball. It appears that he has confidence in his body, his game and himself. The StockX data breach was about more than your money

As much as they may have wanted it to be, the StockX data breach did not only fail to escape not the attention of the sneaker community but even was reported on by non-footwear related media outlets.  Data breaches have become an unfortunate part of life, but how a company handles it can go a long way not only in restoring trust in a company but also in what actions could be taken against them. However I am more a fan of Derrick Rose the man and if that is what he needs to do in order find happiness, I am in total support of it.   As I perused the various sports outlets that covered this topic, what I found particularly disturbing was some…

Joe Mixon: Another Case of Biased Media Reporting

Unprovoked violence against anyone, regardless of sex, is wrong. No one has the right to put their hands on another person in an aggressive fashion. The recent footage that was released (somehow I find the timing odd to say the least) of the altercation University of Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon had with fellow student Amelia Molitor is very telling. Terming the media’s, and particularly the sports media’s, coverage of this story as irresponsible would be giving them an underserved courtesy.  Every news outlet leads with some variation of Mixon…
