Johnson C. Smith quarterback Darius Ocean was named HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW. In the Golden Bulls’ 21-14 defeat of Shaw, Ocean completed 24-of-32 passes for 265 yards, 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Ocean also added 16 rushing yards. Ocean and his gridiron exploits will be highlighted on BOXTOROW with Donal Ware, the nationally syndicated sports talk show that airs on stations across the nation.
