title image via BCU Athletics Bethune-Cookman Women’s Basketball student-athlete D’Shantae Edwards has been named Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Women’s Basketball Co-Impact Player of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday, Dec. 5, from the league office in Birmingham, Alabama. Edwards, a 5-foot-7 sophomore guard from Dallastown, Pennsylvania, was instrumental in Bethune-Cookman’s lone game last week away to Florida International. The Dallastown Area High product registered a career-high 18 points and season-best six steals as the Wildcats fell late to the Panthers.
