Howard overcomes Bethune-Cookman with Newton late game heroics

With less than two minutes to go, Howard freshman sensation quarterback Caylin Newton engineered a 9-play, 45-yard drive that was culminated in Newton himself scoring the go-ahead score on a 5-yard TD tun, putting the Bison up for good 26-24. In the first quarter the Wildcats took 7-0 lead after a 7-play, 56 yard drive was capped off by a Larry Brihm 20 yard touchdown run. Thomas’ medical evaluation could put trade in jeopardy

It seems the hip injury that caused Isaiah Thomas to miss the last two games of the Eastern Conference Finals could be a potential roadblock in the completion of the recent trade that sent Thomas to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics. Thomas was in Cleveland yesterday for his physical and there is some concern in regards to his health. Kyrie Irving recently hopped on Instagram to give the world a preview of an, to that time, unseen colorway of signature, the Nike Kyrie 3. This dark teal tonal model has been tentatively monikered “Tiffany”. They are inspired by empowering women ( though I am not sure how) and connected to the Tiffany&Co jewelry brand. Kyrie 3 “Duke” to release next week

Continuing the trend set by its predecessors, this colorway of the Kyrie 3 shows love to the college Kyrie attended, Duke. This model, which debuted in the Blue Devils’ February 28th game against Florida State,  is dressed completely in a royal blue with “DU” wrapping the left heel and “KE” on the right. Chenille, varsity-inspired Swooshes finish off the aesthetic of this shoe. For those of you who do not play for Coach K, you will have to wait until March 10 to get these, when they release.   K
