It appears that the Nike Kobe 5 will be the next shoe in Kobe Bryant’s signature line to get the protro treatment. A planned colorway for this performance retro will be that of a white, black and metallic gold, reminiscent of the “Big Stage” Kobe 5, but that it will not be a reprisal of that colorway. Air Max2 Light to return in another OG colorway

An original colorway of Nike Air Max2 Light, originally released in 1994, is making a return to retail. This colorway features purple mesh, with suede at the toe cap, over laid by white leather throughout the upper. A black swoosh is found on both the medial and lateral sides, while a grey, black and clear plastic “Nike Air” logo makes its home on the heels. The “Watch The Throne” LeBron 9 was an exclusive sneaker gifted to Jay-Z and Kanye West in celebration of their tour and joint album of the same name. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV is the next shoe in the Kobe line to get “protroed”, following in the outsoles of the Zoom Kobe 1 Protro. When it released back in 2012, the “Galaxy” Nike Zoom Rookie was a follow up to a shoe whose impact is still felt today, the “Galaxy” Air Foamposite One. The “Galaxy” Zoom Rookie will return in 2019. Like its 2012 predecessor, it will feature a nebular pattern across It Foamposite upper, underlaid by a black mesh and nubuck as well as black pods. Nike will be debuting a lower collared version of the LeBron 16 for the upcoming spring and summer. The Black and Tan colorway shown will be one of the first colorways. As we head into the new month of February, it seems we will be greeted with a new colorway of the Kobe AD. Nike and Major League Baseball announce 10-year deal

Friday, Major League Baseball and Nike announced they had reached a ten-year agreement that will make the athletic giant the officials provider of on-field apparel and merchandise beginning in 2020. Baltimore, Maryland based Under Armour struck a ten-year deal with Major League Baseball to be the uniform provider, but had to back out of the deal. They will remain one of MLB’s footwear providers. This racing-inspired Air Force 1 Low is scheduled to make its retail debut in 2019.
