Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Bridgeport, CT thieves pilfer 3K worth of Nike Shoes

According to Bridgeport, Connecticut police, a duo of burglars stole 10 pair of Air Jordan sneakers valued at $3,000. The thieves also caused more than $6,000 in damage when they broke in the front door with a crowbar.  Cameras caught the two men entering the three-story apartment complex carrying empty bags. On November 11.  They departed a few minutes later with noticible bulges in the same bags.  Police indicate the suspects knew the victim and was aware of the high-prices sneakers were in the apartment. “Wingless” Air Jordan 1’s Return to Retail

These upcoming colorways are based on an early prototype of the Air Jordan 1 that was sans the wings logo. After making their first retail appearance last year, three new colorways will make appearances in the early months of 2017. Like the previous version, this will not feature the wings logo, but rather “AIR JORDAN” spelled out in its location. After his two seasons at Baylor, it seemed to be a forgone conclusion that Isaiah Austin would grace NBA courts. The 7’1″ center averaged 12.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game during his time in Waco (despite being blind in his right eye since the age of 16 after suffering retinal detachment). This Air Jordan 3, dubbed “Rio Teal”, is a children’s exclusive colorway that features a black leather upper with Rio Teal accenting with Metallic Gold coloring for the lower eyelets and Jumpman logos. Tragedy struck the family of Illinois Rep Danny Davis, who represents the 7th Congressional District of Illinois.  Two teenagers broke into the home of Davis’s grandson, 15 year-old Jovan Wilson.
