LeBron James took this colorway of his new LeBron XXII to the hardwood in a recent game against the Detroit Pistons. This eye-catching iteration of the XXII sports a vibrant royal blue upper peppered with volt embroidered patterns. Outside of their namesake, Las Vegas Aces star Aja Wilson is one of the most prominent wearers of the LeBron XXI. Throughout the WNBA season, the unanimous MVP has been seen in multiple and often very well-executed colorways of the LeBron XXI  The latest iteration for the Paris Olympic gold medalist sports a golden upper deasigned to resemble gold foil. PE Corner: “Golden Medal” Adidas AE 1

This AE 1 was made for now Olympic gold medalist, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards. They sport a black textile upper paired with lustrous gold, with the same/ golden detailing appearing on the Adidas Three Stripes branding on the rear heel as well as the AE logo on the tongue.  Underneath resides a Boost-equipped Lightstrike midsole and a golden rubber outsole  As with the majority of the subjects of PE Corner, there are no indications, currently, of a retail release for these.  images via lovedrose16

PE Corner: Caitlin Clark records career high in new Kobe VI Protro PE’s

In the Indiana Fever’s highly anticipated game with the Chicago Sky, Caitlin Clark broke out a new Kobe VI Protro PE. In a performance that would have brought a smile to their namesake, dropped a career-high 31 points and dropped 12 dimes in the Fever’s 100-81 thumping of Chicago Sky Friday night.  Clark’s Kobe VI Protro sports light blue scales situated atop a similarly colored and white upper. This duo of Kobe VIII player exclusives was made with the Phoenix Mercury in mind. One pair features an orange engineered mesh upper with a purple Swoosh on the lateral side, with similarly presented, but smaller branding on the medial ankle. PE Corner: An initial look at the “EYBL” Air Jordan 11 Low IE

These Kobe IV Protros were made for Sacramento Kings power forward and Canadian national team member Trey Lyles. They feature a red, predominantly leather upper with Flywire-equipped side panels. On the aforementioned side panels reside white snake-scaled textured Swooshes. A Kobe logo appears on the tongue, while a Maple Leaf, the national symbol of Canada, can be seen on the rear heel.
