In the Los Angeles Lakers’ recent game against the Brooklyn Nets, LeBron James broke out these special edition LeBron XXII.  Made for his alma mater, St. Vincent_St-Mary, thye feature a green upper with black forming the Swoosh on the lateral side and wrapping around to the medial side. In a recent game, Sacramento Kings forward and Kobe line flag carrier DeMar DeRozan broke out the “Think Pink/Kay Yow” Kobe IX EM. In a recent game, Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant broke a special edition of his Ja 2.  Inspired by a recent trip to the Memphis Zoo and the giraffe named after Morant by the facility, they sport a giraffe-styled print throughout the upper.  The lateral sides are adorned with black-bordered Swooshes, while smaller black embroidered branding appears on the medial sides. This LeBron XXII, which was seen on the feet of Anthony Davis, sports a vibrant yellow patent leather upper with the lateral Swoosh transitioning from yellow to purple at the junction with the midsole. The same coloration also wraps the heel and extends onto the medial side. The University of Oregon women’s basketball team played their Stomp Out Cancer game this weekend. In the game, a 54-47 win over Indiana, the Ducks broke out the “Think Pink” Kobe IX Low.  They sport a pink engineered mesh upper adorned on the sides with white Swooshes. Though his evening ended much earlier than he hoped, in the Lakers’ marquee Christmas Day matchup against the Golden State, Anthony Davis rocked this special version of the LeBron XXII.  This Kung-Fu Panda-inspired iteration of the LeBron XXII sports a black upper with a large orange section that forms the Swoosh on the lateral side. On Derrick Rose jersey retirement night, Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey wore the “Drew Aid” Kobe IV Protro PE. They sport a white mesh foundational layer overlaid with leather of the same hue at the forefoot and wrapping the heel.
