Sketchers facing lawsuit…..Again

Sketchers is in familiar territory and by that meaning they are getting sued by someone, and it is a familiar foe: Adidas. The Three Stipes levied a lawsuit against Sketchers in Sepetmber of 2015 for it’s “unlawful behavior” over mimicked designs of the their Stan Smith sneaker with their Onix shoe, which is a carbon copy of the Smith. Kyrie Irving and Kids Foot Locker donated kicks to Boys&Girls Club of Cleveland

This weekend , during his basketball camp, the Kyrie Irving Basketball ProCamp, Kyrie Irving partnered with Kids Foot Locker and donated 190 pair to the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland. The 190 represent the points Irving scored in the 2016 NBA Finals. With all the negatives aspects of sneakers and sports that get so much run in the media, it is nice to report these kinds of stories.

Ben Simmons inks deal with Nike

The projected number 1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft, Ben Simmons announced today that he has signed an endorsement deal with Nike. He broke the news on the Twitter feed of Uninterrupted, LeBron James’ multimedia website. Simmons is also represented by Rich Paul who represents James as well. Cleveland Cavaliers backup lead guard Matthew Dellavedova will soon have his own signature sleds with Chinese sportswear company PEAK. He signed a three year deal with the company.
