from Megan Armstrong of Bleacher Report: Los Angeles Lakers guard Avery Bradley has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday night’s game against the Detroit Pistons with a right ankle sprain, according to team reporter Mike Trudell. Bradley suffered the injury earlier in the game and required assistance to get to the locker room, per Trudell, but his X-rays came back negative. Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis will play tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks, according to The Athletic’s Bill Oran, per the team. Davis missed the team’s last game against the Indiana Pacers due to ankle injury.

Avery Bradley out at least 1-2 weeks with leg injury

According to reporting by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, L.A. Lakers guard Avery Bradley has been diagnosed with a hairline fracture in the non-weight bearing bone of his right leg, following an MRI on Thursday. Bradley’s status will be evaluated in 1-2 weeks. Bradley signed a two-year $9.7 million deal this past offseason with the Lakers after the team was rebuffed by Kawhi Leonard. In ten games this season, Bradley has averaged 9.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 27.4 minutes per contest.

Bradley suffered the injury Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs. Mike Trudell reports that X-rays came back negative and that he is listed as day-to-day. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will get the start in his absence.
