Euro club passed over “fat” Nikola Jokic

Staff

Check out this interesting read at EuroHoops.net about how a young Nikola Jokic was overlooked by a club in Belgrade for being fat and no one though the future NBA MVP had any game. From the Eurohoops.net team/ info@eurohoops.net Partizan Belgrade’s former legendary coach Dusko Vujosevic talked about how the club ignored Nikola Jokic back when the current NBA MVP was a youngster because he was considered “fat” and because no one believed in his potential at all. James Harden ruled out for Game 3

Brandon King

James Harden has logged just one of oncourt action in the Brooklyn Nets Eastern Conference Semifinal playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks. The 2017-18 MVP injured his right hamstring on the first possession of Game 1. Harden exited the game and has been dealing with tightness in the muscle. This is the same injury that gave him issues toward the end of the regular season and it has already cost Harden Game 2 and it will also, unsurprisingly, keep him out for Game 3 as well. Harden’s passing ability and…

Nate Bjorkgren out as Pacers head coach

Brandon King

For the second time in less than a year, the Indiana Pacers are on the market for a head coach. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pacers have fired head coach Nate Bjorkgren. While it seems like a quick hook to run a head coach after just one year, this doesn’t come as a shock to many within and close to the organization. Bjorkgren’s abrasive and problematic communication style rubbed many in the Pacers organization and caused him to completely lose the locker room. This disconnect translated into the suboptimal…

Daryl Morey and Philadelphia 76ers fined $75,000 for Stephen Curry tweet

Brandon King

Daryl Morey and the Philadelphia 76ers were both fined $75,000 by the NBA for a tweet that was directed at Stephen Curry. Specifically what occurred was that Morey took a screen shot of a post from Stephen Curry’s Instagram in which he congratulated his brother Seth, who is a guard for the 76ers, on a good game. He then posted the screen shot to his twitter ( which is as of the writing of this article, still up) with the tweet “join ‘em”. Though he tried to walk it back…
