Lebron James out vs Jazz

Earlier today the Los Angeles Lakers announced that Lebron James will not play in the club’s Wednesday night game against the Utah Jazz due to ( say it with me) load management. This will be his third game missed in the Lakers’ last seven outings. It seems the missed games will pile up as the Lakers will not be participants in this year’s postseason. Look to see more Kyle Kuzma and Lance Stephenson in James’ absence.

Blazers’ Nurkic suffers severe leg injury

The Portland TrailBlazers defeated the New Jersey Nets 148-144 in double overtime Monday night but it came at great cost. According to Jay King of the Athletic, Boston Celtics star point guard Kyrie Irving will miss the team’s game Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers for , the annoyingly increasing used term, “load management.” His colleague at The Athletic, Joe Vardon, had an interesting take observation on Irving’s absence tomorrow.
