The New Orleans Pelicans announced the team had hired former Brooklyn Nets assistant generals manager Trajan Langdon as their new GM. Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala underwent an MRI earlier today for a lower leg injury he suffered in the ballclub’s 110-99 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in game 3 of the Western Conference Final. Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that the MRI came back negative. ESPN’s Nick Friedell adds that Iguodala’s status for Game 4 is uncertain. Indiana Pacers guard Tyreke Evans has been put out of the NBA for violating the league’s anti-drug policy, according to a statement released by the team. Per Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype that Evans will be eligible for reinstatement in two years. Though he has never been suspended for drug-related issues somehow this instance warranted a two-year ban.
