Ben Simmons to sign with Los Angeles Clippers

Ben Simmons has agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Clippers and will sign with the teams once he clears waivers according to Shams Charania.  Earlier on Saturday Simmons and the Brooklyn Nets agreed on a buyout, making the enigmatic power forward a free agent. Nate Robinson gets life saving operation

Former NBA guard Nate Robinson underwent a successful kidney transplant Friday morning at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. An ESPN chronicle of Robinson’s ordeal revealed that the three-time slam dunk champion (2006, 2009, and 2010) learned during his rookie year with the New York Knicks that his kidneys were it. The Jimmy Butler saga has mercifully come to an end. The disgruntled star was sent to the Golden State Warriors in a deal that involved the Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, and the Miami Heat. The Milwaukee Bucks have traded Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma.  As part of the deal, guard AJ Johnson and a draft pick are also heading to the nation’s capital, while forward Patrick Baldwin Jr and a second-round pick. From the CAA: Commissioner Joe D’Antonio has issued a suspension to Drexel men’s basketball student-athlete Yame Butler for a violation of the conference’s sportsmanship policy. Butler committed a violation of the conference’s sportsmanship policy during the second half of the Dragons’ game against Northeastern on January 23.
