Otto Porter out against Clippers with back injury

From Scott Polacek of B/R: The Chicago Bulls will be without forward Otto Porter Jr. for Sunday’s game against the L.A. Clippers. Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic reported the news, noting Porter is dealing with a back injury. Porter played six minutes in Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers before exiting with the injury. The Georgetown product has appeared in 10 games this season and is averaging 12.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists a night while shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from three-point range. A season that had stumbled out of the blocks for the Washington Wizards got another kick in the keyster. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Wizards center Thomas Bryant has suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. This season Bryant was averaging 14.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in 27.1 minutes per contest in starting all ten of the team’s games. Seth Curry tests positive for COVID-19

Right before their game their game against the Brooklyn Nets Thursday, Philadelphia 76ers guard Seth Curry popped positive for COVID-19. Once the team and Curry got wind of this development, he was straightaway taken to an isolation room and then departed the Barclays Center apart from the tea. Shake Milton was moved into the starting lineup in Curry’s place. Sources told ESPN that the the Sixers will remain in New York overnight and begin contact tracing Friday morning.
