In the first quarter of their game against the Indiana Pacers, Orlando Magic guard Devin Cannady landed awkwardly and appeared to severely injure his lower leg. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, citing a source, reported Sunday morning that Durant “is planning to return to the lineup.” Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium first reported Saturday that Durant is officially listed as probable after missing the past three games with a thigh contusion. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Memphis Grizzlies will be retaining the services of guard Tim Frazier for the rest of the 2020-21 campaign. Frazier’s deal will kick in at the conclusion of the 10-day contract he is currently under. In the three games he has played for the Grizzlies, Frazier has averaged 1.3 points, 2.3 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 11.0 minutes of work.

From Blake Schuster of B/R: Former Kentucky men’s basketball star Terrence Clarke died following a car crash in Los Angeles on Thursday, his agent, Rich Paul, confirmed to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Clarke was 19 years old. The Boston native was reportedly working out in Southern California in preparation for the 2021 NBA draft prior to the crash.
