Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum agrees to a three-year, $100 million extension with the ballclub. McCollum’s agent , Excel Sports’ Sam Goldfeder told ESPN that the deal extends his current deal to five years and $157 million. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, shooting guard Damion Lee has agreed to a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors. Warriors head coach was complementary of Lee, telling reporters back in April,”I think he belongs in the NBA. Free agent Pau Gasol has agreed to a one-year deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Gasol began last season with the Spurs before being bought out. He signed with the Bucks but only appeared in three games before suffering a stress fracture in his left foot, ending his season. Gasol will bring experience and championship pedigree to an already solid big man lineup that includes Zach Collins, Hassan Whiteside, and (eventually) Jusef Nurkic.

Free agent guard Ben McLemore has agreed to a partially guaranteed two-year deal with Houston Rockets, according to The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania. Since being taken seventh overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2013, the guard has occasional flashes, but has failed to live up to the expectations when he came out of Kansas ( too early). Last season he did not start any of the 19 games he appeared in and averaged a paltry 3.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in just 8.3 minutes per contest.

Veteran sharpshooter Kyle Korver will return for a 17th NBA campaign. Korver’s agent Jeff Schwartz related to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that Korver will get a one-year deal from Milwaukee.
