The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announced it will host its 2018 Football Championship game Saturday, November 10 at Salem Stadium located in Salem-Roanoke, VA. The game pits the Conference’s Northernand Southern Division Champions against each other and is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. EST kickoff. The Tennessee State/Hampton game that was scheduled for September 15 can now be added to the list of sporting events that are postponed or outright canceled because of Hurricane Florence bearing down on the East Coast. This is the second consecutive week the Tigers have had a game canceled due to inclement weather; the Southern Heritage Classic against Jackson State last week was canceled due to lightning.
