Lebron to play, but not start against Bulls

It was reported by Chris Haynes and others Thursday that Lebron James would possibly return to action for the Lakers final few games of the regular season. However the Lakers superstar was quick to refute those reports calling into question the legitimacy of those alleged “sources”. New reporting from The Atheltic and Stadium’s Shams Charania indicates that Lebron will play Sunday versus the Chicago Bulls but will come off the bench- something that hasn’t occurred since December 11, 2007 against the Indiana Pacerw in James’ first run with the Cavaliers.

Track organization bans transgender athletes from elite female competitions

Courtesy of ESPN News Services World Athletics has banned transgender women from competing in elite female competitions if they have gone through male puberty, the sport’s governing body said Thursday. Organization president Sebastian Coe said at a news conference that the decision by the World Athletics Council to exclude transgender women was based “on the overarching need to protect the female category.” Coe added that World Athletics would form a task force to study transgender inclusion that would be chaired by a transgender athlete. The Lakers forward hurt his foot in the third quarter of the team’s game against the Dallas Mavericks on February 26. Texas Tech suspends Mark Adams over racially insensitive comments
