The WNBA concluded its All-Star weekend Saturday night with the All-Star Game, putting a bow on what was a very entertaining weekend of on-court festivities. Coach Manley joins the Golden Lions staff after spending the last two seasons as the Offensive Coordinator at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.  During his time at Lincoln, Coach Manley engineered an offense that set 11 school records in 2023. Clippers trade Rusell Westbrook to Jazz, expected to end up in Denver

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Russell Westbrook has been traded to the Utah Jazz (again). The Jazz are expected to buy Westbrook out, paving the way for the former MVP to join the Denver Nuggets.  TNT Sports’ Chris Haynes reported Kris Dunn will agree to a 3-year, $4 million deal with the Clippers. These Kobe X Lows were spotted on the feet of US Olympic Basketball team member and Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburrton. They sport a team USA-inspired graphic that completely canvasses the entirety of its upper. Kobe Bryant’s father, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant passes at age 69

Former NBA player Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, the father of Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, has died. He was 69. An official cause of Bryant’s death was not announced as of Tuesday morning. La Salle University, where Bryant played and coached, said in a statement that Bryant “was a beloved member of the Explorer family and will be dearly missed.” Longtime Philadelphia-area basketball coach Fran Dunphy, who currently is the head coach at La Salle, told the Philadelphia Inquirer that Bryant recently suffered a massive stroke. This weekend, unfortunate news broke that Talladega College would have to discontinue its gymnastics program after just one season due to university financial health concerns. We were told by sources that the team received no prior notice, only finding out the day the decision was announced.  The Tornadoes’ gymnastics was not a mere can upon which to be beaten by every opponent they faced.
