Clark Atlanta scores late to get past Fort Valley State, 26-21

A 10-point quarter pushed the Panthers of Clark Atlanta past Fort Valley State, 26-21 in front of a national audience on ESPN2.  After a scoreless first quarter, Fort Valley State struck first when Wildcats quarterback Don Hudson connected with J.T. Pendleton on an 11-yard scoring toss, caping a 14-play, 75-yard drive that made the score 7-0. Josh Giddey, Bulls agree to 4 year, $100 million deal

After protracted negotiations that languished throughout the offseason, the Chicago Bulls and Josh Giddey have agreed on a 4-year, $100 million deal.  With no major free agents acquired, resigning Giddey was a high priority for the Bulls. The two sides were initially far apart on numbers as Giddey’s side was reportedly looking for approximately $30 million a year, while the team was looking at paying the potentially budding star closer to $20 million per annum.  The restricted free agent is coming off a 2024-25 season in which he averaged 14.6…
