Andrew Body returning to Alabama State, withdraws from the transfer portal

Late game defense pushes Tennessee State past Little Rock 70-63

After trailing for most of the second half, the Tennessee State defense put the clamps on late in the second half to pull off a come-from-behind win.  Tennessee State led for a long stretch of the first half with Little Rock briefly tying the game at 9 on a Cameron Wallace slam dunk at the 15:42 mark. Tennessee State falters in second half falls to Little Rock, 60-54

The Tennessee State Lady Tigers were in control of the game in the first half, outscoring Little Rock in both the first and second quarters. However, the momentum swung toward Little Rock in the second half as the Trojans took the lead, answered every TSU run, and went on to a 60-54 win.  Tennessee State took an early 3-0 lead on Aaniya Webb’s three-pointer at the 7:50 mark. Bowie State basketball schedule change (again)

The Thursday basketball doubleheader between Bowie and Bluefield State has been postponed due to weather and safety concerns posed by Winter Storm Fern.  This was the second postponement of the doubleheader, as the January 28 date was a rescheduled version of the original.  A rescheduled date has not been determined and will be announced at a later date.

“Coconut Milk” Nike KD 18 coming February 2026

This upcoming iteration of the KD 18 sports a coconut mesh foundational layer overlaid with sand drift suede. Bluetile x Nike SB Dunk Low coming this summer

This Dunk SB Low was berthed out of a collaborative effort between Bluetile Skateboards and Nike SB.  It sports a black upper, comprised of textured panels, underlaid in blue at the toe and side panels. Orange embroidery on the rear heel hearkens to the cobblestone streets of Charleston, SC, where Bluetile calls home.  Nike SB branding on the tongue, while the South Carolina State flag , makes an appearance on the back of the tongue.
