Bowie State announces 2026 Football Schedule

The Department of Athletics at Bowie State University has announced its 2026 football campaign, featuring four home games at Bulldog Stadium, a very competitive slate of Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) action, and two Division I nonconference matchups. The Bulldogs will open the season with four consecutive road games, beginning Sept. 5 at Virginia State in an early non-conference match-up. Bowie State will continue its schedule outside of conference competition with back-to-back Division I battles at Delaware State on Sept. 12, before traveling to Huntsville, Ala., for a program’s first ever meeting at Alabama A&M on Sept. 19. Albany State Lady Golden Rams fall to Tuskegee in overtime, 70-65

From the SWAC to the SEC: former AAMU lineman signs with Georgia

Former Alabama A&M offensive lineman TyQuez Richardson has committed to Georgia. The Atlanta native started in all 12 games for the Bulldogs in 2025.  Coming out of Mays High School, the 6-5 330-pound Richardson chose Alabama A&M over Colorado, which had made an offer for his services. Richardson returns to his home state, the Bulldogs as part of the 53rd-ranked transfer class in the nation, according to On3’s 2026 College Football Team Transfer Portal Rankings.

Initial look at the “Lake Show” Air Jordan 4
