In addition to Nike, it was reported in August that Anta and New Balance were interested in signing the one-time All-Star.
Nike will have 10 business days to exercise the “match clause” in their current deal with Hayward.
Should Nike not choose to do so and let Hayward walk, he joins a brand in Anta that includes Golden State Warriors’ guard Klay Thompson, who signed a 10-year deal with the brand last year, boxer Manny Pacquiao and Lakers’ guard Rajon Rondo.
