Grambling State Football to appear on ESPN twice in 2019

GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University football team will play two televised ESPN games during the 2019 season, the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced on Thursday.

In addition to the two ESPN broadcasts, Grambling State will be featured two more times throughout the upcoming season.

The Tigers open the television slate on Sept. 7 at Louisiana Tech. That game will kickoff at 2:30 p.m.and be televised live on the NFL Network.

Grambling State’s next televised game comes on Oct. 5 in Jackson, Miss. against Jackson State. The two teams will kickoff at 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN3.

GSU’s next opportunity comes on Nov. 9 as Alcorn State visits Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN3 (later televised on ESPNU at 9:30 p.m.).

The final televised contest of the season will be the 46th Annual Bayou Classic on Nov. 30 against Southern. The Tigers and Jaguars will kickoff at 4 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on the NBC Sports Network.

Ticket prices for the upcoming season are $80 for reserved seating, $70 for general admission, $70 (reserved) and $65 (general admission) for GUNAA Lifetime Members and $55 for GSU Faculty and Staff (general admission). Payroll deduction is available for all GSU employees.
The GSU Ticket Office is located in the front of the Frederick C. Hobdy Assembly Center and is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, the Ticket Office is open from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
