Isaiah Thomas has a had a rough couple of years. Since averaging 28.9 ppg and being a top 5 MVP contender with the Boston Celtics with the Boston Celtics in 2017, injuries have limited Thomas to just 44 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Denver Nuggets over the next two seasons. This offseason, Thomas signed a one-year , $2 million deal with the Washington Wizards. He had surgery on his left thumb in mid-September, and returned to practice this week.
He is set to make his season debut tonight when the Wizards take on the San Antonio Spurs.
With John Wall out for the season, the opportunity is there for Thomas to rebuild his career this year.
