Jackson State Ahmad Miller named Co-National HBCU Player of the Week

Jackson State running back Ahmed Miller was named the Co-national HBCU Player of the Week. In the Tiger season opening win against Hampton Miller recorded 180 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 12 carries. One of those scores, a 2-yard touchdown run with five minutes and 32 seconds remaining in the game put Jackson State up 21 to 14, a lead that Jackson State would not relinquish. Miller then put the icing on the cake with a 79-yard scoring scamper with four minutes to go. They pushed the lead to its final count at 28-14.
