Duvall has been named to the 2026 FCS Punter of the Year Preseason Watch List, becoming one of just 14 punters from across the Football Championship Subdivision under consideration for the prestigious award. In the Tiger season opening win against Hampton Miller recorded 180 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 12 carries. Johnson C. Smith quarterback Darius Ocean was named HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW. In the Golden Bulls’ 21-14 defeat of Shaw, Ocean completed 24-of-32 passes for 265 yards, 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions.
