Jerian Grant is expected to be the newest addition in an already formidable backcourt at AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan. He is the second son of former player Harvey Grant who is the twin brother of All-Star Horace Grant.

Playing for Promitheas Patras in the Greek league, Grant averaged team-highs 15.2 points and 6.06 assists (also a league second-best) plus 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 steals to push his team into finishing third in the regular season. In the playoffs, he produced 14.1 points plus 7.9 assists,5.4 rebounds and 2.6 steals as his team made the semifinals.

Grant was one of the names on the wish list of many European teams and as he recently said in an interview with Eurohoops, he wanted to stay in Europe and play on the highest level.

Coach Ettore Messina has already contacted the player and explained to him his role on the team and it seems highly unlikely at this point for the deal to not be completed soon. To be exact the official announcement by the Italian club is expected tomorrow.
