The Social Status/ Nike joint effort is a two shoe collaboration that used the Air Penny 2 as the canvas.
The first colourway makes use of a sail, university blue and white hue palette, sporting a sail and university blue upper above a white midsole and university blue outsole.
The other is a black-based aesthetic, sporting a black upper , with reflective, dual-branded Nike and Social Status lateral ankle overlays and reflective piping. One cent and and Nike branding are seen on the tongue and rear heel, respectively.
Underneath resides a white midsole, heel Max Air unit and a university blue rubber outsole.
Like its sail coloured brethren, the black sneaker will sport a miniature Penny 2 hangtag and will with special, action figure-inspired packaging.
The black ”Playground” Social Status x Nike Air Penny 2 is releasing 13 October via Social Status; they will carry a 200 USD sticker price.
