Slovenia team announces Olympic qualifying roster

The Slovenian national team announced their roster for the upcoming Olympic Qualifier tournament in Lithuania.

The final roster of the Slovenian national team was announced today and it didn’t include surprises. Luka Doncic will have the hard task to lead his team to the Tokyo Olympics on the home court of Lithuania which is hosting one of the four qualifying tournaments.

The rest of the Slovenian national team includes the following players: Aleksej Nikolić, Luka Rupnik, Jaka Blažič, Klemen Prepelič, Zoran Dragić (guards), Gregor Hrovat, Vlatko Čančar, Edo Murić, Jakob Čebašek (forwards), Mike Tobey, Ziga Dimec (centers).

The action for Slovenia starts on Wednesday with the game against Angola and then on Thursday against Poland. The hosts of the Kaunas OQT will face Venezuela on Tuesday and South Korea on Thursday aiming to advance to the semifinals of the six-team tournament.
