Sneaker lunacy has come to Idaho.

Two Canyon County, Idaho men were arrested for robbing a sneaker seller of his merchandise.

According to the 17-year old victim , he made arrangements to sell four pairs of sneakers at a community park near Maple Road and Desert Avenue. Upon arrival at the predetermined location, the seller placed the boxes on the ground and awaited his buyer. Shortly thereafter a car pulled up and two males, Danny Borges Santiago, 19, of Caldwell, Idaho and Ismael A. Aceves, 20, of Nampa, Idaho, emerged from the vehicle. According to police, they told the seller they were taking the shoes but would not be paying for them.

One of the males, who was later identified as Santiago, took a closed fist swing at the victim, while the other male, identified as Aceves, picked up the sneakers and placed them into their car. Santiago and Aceves then got into the car and drove off.
