Tailgating and vendors are pillars of the HBCU football day experience. As we are less than three weeks from the kickoff of the Golden Rams football season against Mississippi College on September 3, Albany State has released the 2022 Football Tailgating agreement. The tailgating fee is $75 for single games (excluding Homecoming).  The Homecoming fee is $175.  For a season package, the cost is $300. To kick off 2022 SIAC Media Day the conference announced preseason football honors and Albany State quarterback Dionte Bonneau was tabbed Offensive Player of the Year. Albany State hires Jeremy Atwell as Defensive Coordinator and Backers Coach

Prior to arriving in Albany, Atwell spent the past two seasons as the defensive coordinator at New Mexico Highlands University.
