Gary Payton II is out indefinitely with thumb injury

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II has suffered a torn ligament in his left thumb. Charania adds that Payton II will be out for an indefinite amount of time.  Payton II is an active, engaged, and effective defender who is a vital part of the Warriors rotation, with his impact far greater than the 6.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists he averages per game. Over the last month he was averaging 20.9 minutes and 11.5 points per contest.

JuJu Watkins named U.S. Basketball Writers Association National Player of the Year

Wednesday afternoon the U. S Basketball Writers Association named University of Southern California guard JuJu Watkins their Player of the Year. After a phenomenal freshman campaign, the Lady Trojans sophomore sensation averaged 23.9 points 6.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game as she helped lead USC to a 30-3 overall record and a 16-1 mark in the Big 10. JuJu Watkins tears right ACL against Mississippi State

Juju Watkins hold her right knee in pain after tearing her ACL( image via Robert Gauthier / Los Angeles Times) USC star guard JuJu Watkins will miss the remainder of the NCAA Tournament with a torn ACL.  The injury occurred with 4:43 left in the first quarter of the Lady Trojans matchup against Mississippi State. . In a recent game, Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan laced up the “Brave Blue” colorway of the Kobe IX Low. They sport a knit upper that features swaths of blues, the sides adorned with 3M Swooshes. Kyrie Irving suffers season-ending ACL tear

The worst-case scenario when Kyrie Irving was helped off the court have been confirmed Tuesday morning as it was reported by Shams Charania that Irving has torn his ACL and will thus miss the remainder of the season.  Last night in the first quarter of their game against the Sacramento Kings, Kyrie bumped knees with Jonas Valančiūnas. Jinmy Butler sued for unpaid rent and damages to posh Miami Beach home

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler has been slapped with a lawsuit for unpaid rent and damages concerning a luxury home in Miami Beach, FL that he leased. In a suit filed last week in Florida’s 11th Circuit Court, Five Star Marketing and Promotions allege that the former Miami Heat star did pay months at &130,000 per month and also leftover $127,000 in damages.
