Gary Payton II is out indefinitely with thumb injury

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II has suffered a torn ligament in his left thumb. Charania adds that Payton II will be out for an indefinite amount of time.  Payton II is an active, engaged, and effective defender who is a vital part of the Warriors rotation, with his impact far greater than the 6.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists he averages per game. Over the last month he was averaging 20.9 minutes and 11.5 points per contest.

Jinmy Butler sued for unpaid rent and damages to posh Miami Beach home

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler has been slapped with a lawsuit for unpaid rent and damages concerning a luxury home in Miami Beach, FL that he leased. In a suit filed last week in Florida’s 11th Circuit Court, Five Star Marketing and Promotions allege that the former Miami Heat star did pay months at &130,000 per month and also leftover $127,000 in damages.
