From the CIAA: SALEM, VA – The south’s no. 1 seed Fayetteville State University defeated the No. 2 seed from the south Shaw University, 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-22), to win the 2019 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Championship on Sunday at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Virginia. Saint Augustine University’s world-renowaned track coach George Williams was involved in a car accident while he was in Qatar for the World Track and Field Championships.
