Police in Anhui (China) recently busted that country’s largest case of sneakers. The seized shoes, which numbered over 500,000 pair, were intended to be shipped to Asia and the Middle East. Although made of substandard materials, the sneakers were still valued at over $87 million. A 52-year-old Portland, Oregon man is accused of stealing over $5,000 of sneakers from the Northeast Portland Nike Outlet. Kevin Millage was arrested as a suspects in thefts from the store after detectives reviewed footage from the store’s video surveillance system.  According to court documents, Millage admitted to detectives that he is a drug addict and that he pilfered the shoes in order to sell them to obtain drugs.
