TSU’s Adams and Haynes-Overton earn Conference Honors

Haynes-Overton was also named to the All-OVC Newcomer Team. Adams, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, showed no signs of a sophomore slump this season after being named the OVC Freshman of the Year a season ago. The Tuskegee women’s hoops team put on display why they were undefeated , 20-0 , in SIAC play this season as they put a 73-50 beating on Central State in the SIAC quarterfinals. Alabama State’s Eric Coleman converted a successful three-point shot attempt with 4.1 seconds on the game clock subsequently giving ASU a 53-51 lead.
