Los Angeles Clippers forward Danilo Gallinari will miss the team’s game with the Cleveland Cavaliers with a sore ankle, according to the LA Times’ Brad Turner. Gallinari has been hampered by injuries in the past, but has been relatively healthy this game, playing in 64 games and averaging 19.4 rebounds and 6.1 rebounds per contest. He has helped the Clippers more than exceed the expectations of many, firmly entrenching themselves in the Western Conference playoff hunt.

According to Jay King of the Athletic, Boston Celtics star point guard Kyrie Irving will miss the team’s game Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers for , the annoyingly increasing used term, “load management.” His colleague at The Athletic, Joe Vardon, had an interesting take observation on Irving’s absence tomorrow. As reported by The Athletic’s Anthony Slater, Golden State Warriors superstar forward Kevin Durant, will not play in the team’s Wednesday game against the Houston Rockets. Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio will miss their game Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies with a hip issue. The team listed Rubio on their injury report as out with left hip tightness.
