For their recently announced Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) schedule – April 26-28 in Atlanta; May 10-12 Indianapolis,IN, and May 24-26 in Dallas, TX- Nike has produced special sneakers for the occasion. The fifth model of Kyrie Irving’s signature line is going to be the latest addition to Nike’s “Have A Nike Day” collection. This Kyrie 5 sports a white upper with a denim-like material on the lateral and medial Swooshes, as well as wrapping around the heel. The Flytrap device features splotches of colors and the Swoosh-smiling happy face. A white midsole is present with a small segment of purple on the forefoot where the Zoom Air unit is. “Mamba Mentality” Kyrie 5 Official Photos

This colorway of the Kyrie 5, as previously outlined, will be releasing to celebrate Mamba Day 2019. The white upper with its purple and cyber accenting are a nod to the “Chaos” Nike Zoom Kobe V that released in 2009. The “Mamba Mentality” Kyrie 5 is scheduled to release April 13 at nike.com and select retail establishments. The sticker price is set at $130 USD. Like the PG 3 , we recently covered, there will also be a special edition of the Kyrie 5 commemorating Mamba Day 2019. Inspired by the “Chaos” Zoom Kobe V, this Kyrie 5 features a white and cyber color palette. It sports a white upper with purple present for the Flytrap device and the tongue. Back in January, we covered the initial images of a Nike Kyrie 5 inspired by the Celtics’ star guard favorite television show, Friends. It features a black upper and a white swoosh similar to that of the “Black Magic” colorway but instead of white, sports multi-colored hues on the Flytrap design. The Kyrie 5 is the latest silhouette to join the Year of the Pig celebration. This special edition Kyrie 5 features a black upper with the Bai Jia Yi pattern finding a home on the the heel as well as the Flytrap midfoot overlay. This Kyrie 5 draws its inspiration from Kyrie Irving’s favorite television show. The “Friends” edition of the Kyrie 5 sports a black mesh upper with with orange, turquoise and yellow hues finding a home on the Flytrap on the midfoot. White is the color of choice for the Kyrie logo on the tongue as well as the lateral Swoosh logo. Underneath that is the Friends logo(which Kyrie has a tattoo of on his forearm) from the television program. A strip of orange up front breaks up the otherwise black midsole.…
