Toronto Raptors to bring back Dino jerseys

From their inaugural season in 1995 until 1998, the Toronto Raptors sported these purple jerseys that featured their large , at the time , dinosaur logo at the center of the uni. As the upcoming season will be their 25th ( it’s hard to believe it has been that long), they are bringing back the classic dino gamers for an as yet unspecified number of games. Wilson Chandler suspended 25 games for testing positive fo banned substance

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Brooklyn Nets forward Wilson Chandler will miss the first 25 games of the upcoming season due to testing positive for a PED. Chandler’s test came back positive for Ipamorelin, a growth hormone stimulant. With newly-signed Kevin Durant likely sidelined for the season as he recovers from his torn Achilles and now Chandler out of the lineup for 25 games, the Net’s forward rotation will be strained, with Taurean Prince, Joe Harris and Caris LeVert will likely be charged with picking up that slack. Micheal Beasley suspended by NBA for drug violation

NBA free agent Michael Beasley was handed a five game suspension by the NBA on Thursday for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy. Five game sit-downs are typically doled out to repeat offenders of the marijuana policy. This is Beasley’s first drug related issue since his 2013 arrest while he played for the Phoenix Suns. Beasley averaged 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds for the Lakers in the lowest minutes per game (10.7) since his rookie season.
