Golden State Warriors all-world forward Kevin Durant will not return to Game 5 after leaving with a lower leg injury. After hitting a baseline jumper, Durant pulled up lame and held his lower leg. Durant immediately hobbled off the floor and went straight to the locker room and the worst was feared. According to a report from Maddie Lee of the Oklahoman, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced that forward Paul George will at least miss the start of training camp after undergoing surgery to repair a partially torn tendon in his right shoulder. After moving on from head coach Larry Drew soon after the 2018-19 season ended, the Cleveland Cavaliers are in need of a new coach. According to The Athletic’s Joe Vardon, the Cavaliers are planning to set up an interview with J.B. Bickerstaff, the former head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies.
