Rockets trade Micheal Carter-Williams to the Chicago Bulls

As reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Houston Rockets have traded point guard and former Rookie-of-the-Year Micheal Carter-Williams to the Chicago Bulls. Wojnarowski adds that the Bulls will send a future conditional second-round pick to finish the deal off and apparently the move was a cost cutting one for Houston, as they would have been on the hook to fully guarantee Carter-Williams’s deal for this season had he been on the roster as of 5PM today. Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry has been ruled out for team’s highly anticipated game against the Spurs which is the return to San Antonio for Kawhi Leonard. Markieff Morris out six weeks with Transient Cervical Neuropraxia

The Washington Wizards released an official update outlining the status of forward Markieff Morris. Morris was diagnosed with transient cervical neuropraxia .According to Sports Med Today it is “a rare but dangerous cervical spine (neck) injury. John Wall to undergo surgery on injured heel; will miss rest of season

The Washington Wizards’efforts to right the ship this season just took another kick in the nether region. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst have reported that Washington Wizards guard John Wall is plannning to have surgery on his injured left heel.
