A NY teen was the victim of violent assault that cost him his sneakers. A now-deleted Instagram video captured the violent assault, which occurred on Amsterdam Ave. between W. 187th St. and W. 188th St. in Washington Heights, depicted the group surrounding the 15-year-old victim, beat him to the ground with punches and kicks and then run off with his sneakers. Sunday, police in Cromwell, Connecticut arrested two individuals after an armed robbery in River Centre Plaza’s parking lot. According to local law enforcement, the victim made arrangements to meet the suspects , a male and a female, in the aforementioned parking lot. The female suspect allegedly relieved the victim of the sneakers, as the male suspect pointed a gun from inside his car. The theiving duo then fled the scene.
