Nike and Ja Morant officially introduce the Ja 2

We have been highlighting, in various stages of production, images of the upcoming Nike Ja 2. Yesterday Nike officially introduced the world as the sophomore sneaker of the Memphis Grizzlies star guard.  The advertisement captioned “When No One is Watching, I Get Up”, the still form which depicts a still of Morant flying through the air, presmably to bring down a thunderous dunk on a hapless defender. ”Conductor” Nike Sabrina 2 dropping July 12

Dubbed the “Conductor” this upcoming colorway of the Nike Sabrina 2 sports a hydrogen blue mesh and textile upper.  Sabrina logos can be found on the tongue and insoles, while a white Swoosh is parked on the lateral side.   Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a white and hydrogen blue midsole and a white rubber outsole.  The “Conductor” Nike Sabrina 2 is set to debut 12 July 2024 at nike.com and select retail establishments.  Images via allinlivee

First Look: the Nike Wemby 1

We have had strong indications that it was not a matter of if but when Nike would debut a signature sneaker for Victor Wembanyama and it now appears those have been confirmed.  According to Sayitwityakicks, an image of the maiden sneaker for the San Antonio Spurs phenom has come to light. After a dozen years in cold storage, the “What The” Kobe VIII is in the world to make its return in 2025, according to zsneakerheadz.  As with other “What The” colorways, this Kobe VIII Protro is a visual amalgamation, drawing its mismatched aesthetic from a multitude of other Kobe VIII colorways.  Although there are no images available of the 2025 iteration, the expectation is that it will be a fairly faithful recreation of the vibrant, multi-hued visual of its 2013 progenitor.   Unfortunately, I fear that true fans of the man…

Sabrina Ionescu wears new colorway of Sabrina 2

Nike has announced the next evolution in WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu’s signature sneaker line, the Sabrina 2, will debut June 28.  As we reported earlier this month, the New York Liberty standout let the proverbial cat out of the bag that a follow up to her very well-received rookie sneaker was on the way.  The featured colorway of this Kobe V-inspired silhouette features a largely lavender and black aesthetic.  It sports a black mesh foundational layer equipped with Flywire on both the lateral and medial sides. This upcoming iteration of the LeBron XXI is inspired by Easter.  It sports a segmented barely grape upper with jeweled light armory blue Swooshes on the lateral sides and bordered such branding on the medial sides. This colorway of Devin Booker’s first signature shoe sports a combination canvas and leather upper adorned on the sides with tumbled leather Swooshes. On the outside of the rear pull tab reads “CHAPTER ONE” and “96” , a call back to the year of Booker’s birth, 1996.
