KOBE A.D. “Oregon”

These will be coming soon to the feet of the University of Oregon Men’s basketball team. This team specific version of the A.D. features a black upper with yellow for the branding of the tongue Kobe logo, Swoosh, and the “O” logo on the heel. The midsole is wrapped in a yellow duck wing graphic. These are set for a March 10 release.

Kyrie 3 “Duke” to release next week

Continuing the trend set by its predecessors, this colorway of the Kyrie 3 shows love to the college Kyrie attended, Duke. This model, which debuted in the Blue Devils’ February 28th game against Florida State,  is dressed completely in a royal blue with “DU” wrapping the left heel and “KE” on the right. Chenille, varsity-inspired Swooshes finish off the aesthetic of this shoe. For those of you who do not play for Coach K, you will have to wait until March 10 to get these, when they release.   K

Kobe A.D. “BHM” Now Available

The Kobe A.D is the latest addition to the collection of footwear Nike has released to commemorate and celebrate Black History Month ( and to a lesser extent, the NBA all star weekend). Like the other shoes in the collection, the AD makes use of a white black and gold color scheme, with a graphic patterned white up front, black wrapping up around the heel and gold branding rounding out this sneaker’s aesthetic. Navy KOBE A.D.

This latest edition of Kobe Bryant’s first post-retirement signature shoe features a navy upper, with white Swoosh branding on both lateral and medial sides and the tongue Shozuku logo. Red is the color of choice for the DNA-esque snake logo on the heel. KD 9 Performance Review

Fit While I thought the Flyknit upper of the KD9 was beautiful to look at, I was a bit skeptical of it’s ability to perform on the basketball court. However once I took the shoe onto the hardwood, those concerns were quickly assuaged.
