Nike “Shoe Dog” Cortez Pack’s release date

Nike is releasing a group of Cortez in honor’s of Nike’s history and the company’s two founders, Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. The “Shoe Dog” pack consist of three pairs of Cortez- one pair features the slimmer original swoosh designed by Carol Davidson, while the other two feature the Falcon and Dimension Six logos which were two of the other names considered for the company. “Kenny 2” Nike Cortez exclusively releasing in Los Angeles

After the initial launch of the Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez last month , the next pair to release will reference his alter ego, “Kung Fu Kenny.” The shoe is outfitted in primarily a red leather upper with white overlays taking their place on the toecap, up the sides of the lacing system and at the top the heel.  A nylon strip that runs down the center of the tongue and over the laces reads “DON’T TRIP.” Chinese characters on lateral forefoot translates to “damn”, which is a nod to…
