Take a look at ”EYBL” Nike Kobe VIII Protro

These Kobe VIII Protros were part of the fleet of sneakers made for young basketballers of the Elite Youth Basketball League.  They sport a pastel pink knit upper that gives way to white closer to the midsole and heel counter. On the tongue, an EYBL logo can be seen, while on the medial heel, reads “EYBL FAM REUNION.” Black shows up on the large Swoosh on the lateral side, smaller such branding on the medial side, and the Kobe iconography present at the rear heel and external heel counter, respectively.…

”EYBL” Nike KD 17 revealed

The EYBL KD 17 was recently unveiled. Made for the participants of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball league, they sport an eye-catching deep red upper paired with black at the Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides, as well as the KD logo on the tongue. Peach shows up at the inner, along with EYBL branding on the heel.  A forefoot Nike Air unit resides at the upper’s bottom level, while the red midsole is equipped with Zoom Air cushioning at the forefoot. PE Corner: Sabrina 2s fit for a gold medalist

This iteration of the Sabrina 2 was made for New York Liberty star and newly minted Olympic gold medalist Sabrina Ionescu.  They sport a vibrant red mesh upper adorned on the lateral side with a golden Swoosh;’smaller such branding appears on the medial side, below the ankle, along with a matching Sabrina logo on the tongue.  Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a red midsole and a navy-tinted translucent rubber outsole.  Right now, there is no indication of a retail journey in the works for these, but we wouldn’t be upset…

Another new colorway of the Ja 2

A new colorway the yet-to-be-released Nike Ja 2 has emerged.  It sports blue leather at its upper, underlaid at the toe with black mesh. We recently highlighted Jewell Loyd rocking a red iteration of the “USA” Kobe IV Protro in Olympic action and now fellow Olympian and two-time NBA Champion Jrue Holiday was spotted in a white-based iteration of these Kobes.  Its white upper is spread across a combination of leather and FlyWire-equipped side panels. Tyrese Haliburton was seen in a navy-based iteration of the Sabrina 2 and the sneaker’s namesake herself took to the court in a predominantly white look.  It sports a largely white mesh upper with metallic red Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides. A closer look at the “Halo” Nike Kobe IX Elite Protro

The “Halo” Kobe IX Elite Protro is a new colorway of the well-received Kobe IX Elite that is slated to release this summer. Conceived as a tribute to the late, great Kobe Bryant, these sport an angelic all-white Flyknit upper with all branding and markings also appearing in white. Las Vegas Aces star and current Olympian Aja Wilson unveiled a Player Exclusive edition of the LeBron XXI. The USA themed sneaker sports a white upper with a navy bordered red portion that forms the shape Swoosh on the lateral side. Navy also shows up on the LeBron signature on the lateral side. LeBron unveils new colorway of the LeBron XXII

The U.S. Men’s National Basketball opened up Olympic pool play against Serbia on Sunday. In the game, which the U.S. won, 110-84, LeBron James broke out a new colorway of his yet-to-be-released LeBron XXII. They sport a navy upper with a red-bordered white overlay that forms the shape of a Swoosh on the lateral side. Red shows up at the inner, tongue backing, LeBron’s signature on the heel  A white midsole and navy rubber outsole complete the aesthetic.  As it currently stands it is not yet known if these will see a retail release.  Images via talksole
