70,000 pair of Counterfeit Kicks Seized in Thailand

As reported by the Bangkok Post, Customs officials in Thailand seized counterfeit shoes worth at least an estimated 100 million baht (2856326.93 USD) during a raid in the Muang district of Samut Prakan in Thailand.  According to Customs Department director-general Kulit Sombatsiri, the building was used as a warehouse to store 70,000 pair of sneakers, which included “Nikes”, “Adidas”, “Converse”, and “Onitsuka Tiger”.  No one was in the building during the execution of the raid.  The media was shown all of the shoes Friday, prior to being turned over to…

Navy KOBE A.D.

This latest edition of Kobe Bryant’s first post-retirement signature shoe features a navy upper, with white Swoosh branding on both lateral and medial sides and the tongue Shozuku logo. Red is the color of choice for the DNA-esque snake logo on the heel. A white midsole and outsole make up the rest of this look.  This colorways of the KOBE A.D. will be available February 25, 2016.  UPDATE: The release date was changed to February 1,2016.

in celebration and commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King,s birthday, today many Nike and Jordan Brand athletes will take to the court in special all-black PE’s.   The Nike models that will see court action today include the LEBRON 14, KD9, KYRIE 3, PG1, KOBE A.D., Soldier 10, Hyperdunk, Audacity, Zoom Rev and Zoom Live.       Jordan Brand’s MLK Day PE lineup included the AJXXXI, CP3.X, Extra.Fly, M13 and Super.Fly 5 PO.

Lebron breaks out “Hardwood Classics” PE of the Lebron 14

After the long awaited unveiling of his latest signature, the Lebron 14,  Lebron James broke out the “Hardwood Classics” PE tonight versus the Bulls of Chicago. The striking colorway features an orange upper with blue accenting on the swoosh strap, laces and collar. The midsole sports an orange to blue and back to orange gradation and a translucent outsole rounds out the look of this shoe. There is no word on a retail release but keep it locked in here for any release news on this shoe.

2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the Foamposite line. The coming Dark Neon Royal colorway of the Air Foamposite One January 13 kicks things off this year. In February, the Foamposite Pro “Vanchetta Tan” comes to retail.  This lifestyle inspired incarnation of the Pro features a tan nubuck upper with a metallic bronze swoosh.  Silver heel and tongue pull tabs combine with leather laces to complete the look of the upper. After the long awaited unveiling of the Lebron 14 on Christmas Day, LeBron James broke out another colorway of his upcoming signature shoe on his birthday. Dubbed the “Black Ice”, this sneaker features an all-black upper with the white outlined Swoosh on the midfoot strap breaks up the monochromatic look.
